Frozen nature and life: white shrubs and delicate plant fragments of biotin levitating in the emptiness.
They are actually micro-landscapes built or deconstructed by the capricious spatial organization of the molecule biotin or vitamin B7, which is involved in important metabolic reactions in our body that affect cell duplication, blood sugar levels (glycemia), fatty acid synthesis, and others.
This series is a homage to the natural environment, which I show frozen but full of life, from which we obtain food, and active principles to elaborate medicines and innumerable natural remedies.
A microcosm that is expressed as microscopic visual metaphors of the plant kingdom. A kingdom to which some legumes and vegetables belong, rich sources of biotin and other vitamins that we need for a healthy life.
An aesthetic experience that nourishes our minds and our fragile memories.
