biotin, life and evolution

Nature, healthy food, and healthy living bring to our body the vitamins we need for our metabolism.

Vitamin B7 or biotin is relatively unknown, but it surprised me for its elegant shapes and its almost monochromatic tones.

Its plant-like forms are an allegory of our natural environment, from which we obtain food, oxygen, and active principles for our medicines and for countless natural remedies: the basis of our subsistence.

The whimsical arrangement of these molecules, as shrubs with branching stems, also reminds us that legumes

like peanuts or vegetables like chard are rich sources of biotin. Microlandscapes as metaphors of the macrocosm, of nature and of life, a rare occurrence, maybe unique in the observable universe.
